High Security "I" Fence System
The robust and tested steel cage fence of “I” Fence meets the highest safety requirements.
The fence panels can be raked to suit even steep ground slopes and the most difficult ground conditions. What's more, thanks to the mechanical security and electronic detection, the fastest possible detection time can be achieved. While the special noise prevention provides the best possible preparation for acoustic detection.
The "I" Fence works by transforming the vibrations caused by an intruder climbing over or trying to penetrate the fence into electric signals by means of sensor cables.
This also means that only one cable is required to reliably detect both climbing over and penetration activities.
The tuned evaluation unit filters out any unwanted sounds too. This proven and tested sensor technology has a false alarm rate of less than1% in addition, the special design of the ALPHA sensor cable stops the sensor from responding to other signals, from high-voltage power lines for instance.
The beauty of "I" Fence is that the mechanical and electronic components match perfectly.
The special post system also allows for easy installation of the sensor cable, which is disguised and installed in the special U-profile of the fence. The modular construction of “I” Fence enables retrofitting of the detection system without taking away any of the advantages of integration, this means that “I” Fence is also particularly suitable for coupling with video systems, security management systems, command control stations and burglar alarm systems.
"S" Fence System
The "S" Fence system is a unique fence intrusion detection system resulting from close collaboration with fencing manufacturers and experts in electronic intrusion industry and can be adapted to certain other types of fencing.
Effective perimeter fence intrusion detection based on vibration sensing relies on matching the response of an electronic sensor with the mechanical characteristics of the fence itself.
Many systems have failed to deliver satisfactory performance because this fundamental principle has been ignored. It is no longer possible to claim that, simply by 'bolting-on' a vibration sensor to a metal fence, will satisfactory intrusion detection performance be obtained.
The "S" Fence is the first product that combines electronic detection with a physical fence barrier in a way which has been specifically designed to maximise the available benefits of both the fence construction and electronic sensor.
This unique attachment method ensures that mechanical energy caused either by cutting or climbing the fence stimulates the sensor cable to produce electrical signals that fall within the effective sensor bandwidth, thereby maximising the response of the sensor to either of these intrusion activities, with the alarm outputs linking into command control centres for display of the intrusion point via a graphical user interface backed up with CCTV images.
Optimising the fence characteristics with the sensor characteristics ensures that even careful attacks on the fence are detected at minimum sensitivity levels thereby minimising the incidence of false alarms.
While the optimisation of sensor cable and fence matching was the primary goal in this joint development, a spin-off advantage is also realised in that the process of installation of the sensor cable on the fence is greatly simplified. The design of the sensor cable carrier ensures that the sensor can be simply laid within the carrier without the need for additional fixings such as cable ties or clamps.
